Missing In Action.....Thanksgiving, Start of Christmas and much more!

First of all I would like to apologize on my mommy's behalf for the lack of blogging. It has been a very busy time in the the Cruse household. My mommy got sick after Thanksgiving and they misdiagnosed her with the flu....turns out her gallbladder was in really bad shape so she had to have it removed and was down for the count for 2 weeks I didn't mind though...even though I missed her terribly I got to party at my Mimi & Big Sam's and at my Grammie & Deiks. They let me do whatever I want to do.....I got to drink root beer & sweet tea plus I tried a milkshake, grape salad, cool whip, fudge, chocolate oatmeal cookies (these are just what my mommy and daddy know about). I'm going on a date night with my mimi and big sam tonight at the mall...I'm sure I can talk them into a coke icee and a double doozie from Great-American Cookie it will be our little secret.

Let's start with Thanksgiving week- We had Thanksgiving with my Mimi & Big Sam on Wednesday night with lots of yummy food. I was to excited to sleep the night before Thanksgiving so I kept my mommy and daddy up all night! The next morning we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and I really don't see what the big deal is... it was pretty boring. I got my first real boo boo :( I pulled my stocking holder down and it landed on my head. It scared my mommy and daddy to death ( I swear my daddy cried). I had a pretty good knot and cut on my head for Thanksgiving pictures but luckily my bow covered it up. We spent Thanksgiving day at my Mama Stinsons for lunch followed by fun on the farm at Ginger and my cousin Rustin's house. I got to play in the pasture and pet a horse for the first time. The night was spent playing at my Mimi and Big Sam's house while my mommy and daddy went home and took a nap.

Next- The start of December....I have a different Christmas outfit complete with matching bow for every day in December ( I also have Christmas pj's for bedtime). I think it is a little ridiculous but my daddy says to just deal with my mommy being Crazy for Christmas. Every time I turn around my mommy is taking pictures and crying about how big I've gotten. Mommy and Daddy hooked me up with tickets to Breakfast with Santa. I had so much fun listening to Mrs. Clause read a Christmas Story and then I got to eat breakfast with Mr. Grinch, Frosty the Snowman and my personal favorite Rudolph. This Sunday night I'm in my first Christmas Program and I can't wait. I have a special Angel costume that my Aunt Christie made me and I'm going to rock it. (It starts at 6:00 if you would like to come see me) I got to go to the Bass Pro Shop in Leeds to visit with Santa. The line was so long my daddy wouldn't let me stand in it so he bought me a light up rudolph instead. We walked all around the store and looked at tons of fishing and hunting stuff.

Finally- I'm starting to practice walking. I can take 3 steps but when I realize what I'm doing I freak out and fall. I have developed my own attitude and I don't like it when I don't get my way....I throw a fit in the floor, scream or my personal favorite biting ( mommy and daddy are in trouble). I have also learned how to open the cabinet doors, climb in my brother Baxter's cage, try to eat his dog food and help mommy unload the dishwasher. Mommy says I have hundreds of dollars worth of toys and I only want to play with what I'm not allowed to have. Daddy says I'm making a good case of being an only child.

Enjoy the pictures!!

Trick or Treat.....

I have been looking forward to celebrating my First Halloween with family and friends. I had been discussing for a couple of weeks with my mom and dad what I should be. Everyone who is anybody was going to be at Trunk of Treats and I had to look my best. There were going to be LOTS of cute babies there so I knew I was going to to have tons of competation...and of course I was the cutest there...well besides my bff's Harper and Kinley. I finally decided that I wanted to be a ladybug and mom found me the CUTEST costume ever!! I have the BEST mommy....I talked her into dressing up like a kitty cat but dad was a stick in the mud and wouldn't dress up. I got LOTS of presents...who knew you got presents on Halloween... I can really get used to that. My grammie gave me some yummy cotton candy and my mimi gave me a bite of a chocolate oatmeal cookie so I ended the night by projectile vomiting.... I might have partied a little to hard!!

Here are TONS of  pictures from my night ENJOY!!

Pumpkin Patch Fun...

This weekend I went on my first "field trip" with the Nursery Department from my church. I have been looking forward to it all week and was so excited when it was time to go. The excitement was short lived until I was put in my stupid carseat and my dvd player quit working. I was sure to let everyone know that this was unacceptable. My mimi and Aunt Lindsay were able to entertain me for the long ride to Heflin. We went to Bennett Farms and had a great time. Like always I was the cutest baby there and everybody let me know it. Unfortunately, my mom insists on putting these stupid huge bows on my head and I laugh at her and pull them off.... when will she ever learn? She also made me wear a toboggan to keep the sun off of my bald and beautiful head. Bennett Farms had lots of stuff to do....Daddy ran me through the maze and my cousin Rustin and Mommy helped me pick out a pumpkin. There was also a petting zoo... but if you know my daddy you knew that wasn’t happening….. so I wasn't allowed to even look at the animals. I went on the hayride and loved every minute of it!! Overall, I would say it was one of the best days of my short little life.

Enjoy some pictures from the day.....

My baby is growing up :(

Good morning!! Chloey wanted me to let you guys know what she's been up to lately!! Wednesday she turned 7 months old!! I can't believe is she is now closer to 1 than 0. We will be planning her first birthday party soon and if I really sit down and think about it I get very sad. Chloey went to her very first Oxfordfest and let's just say she was less than excited. She has now official started crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING. I guess she wanted to eat what her "brother" was eating because I found her in Baxter's dog food bowl trying to chow down. Tomorrow Chloey has her first "field trip" with her nursery buddies from church and will be going to the Pumpkin Patch in Heflin.

Chloey's Allergies...

We had a meeting with Dr. Grubbe yesterday to discuss Chloey's allergies. He wasn't concerned with the Pine Trees but the Latex allergy is a different story. He told us that Latex is in pretty much everything from the gloves restaurants use to prepare food to the carpet on your floors. Plus, there are some foods that she might possibly be allergic to just because she suffers from a latex allergy.Right now she isn't showing a severe reaction to it but it could get worse. We have to get rid of anything we think contains Latex and keep an epi pin with us at all time. The Dr. explained to us that the epi pin is like car insurance...you hate to pay for it every year but you sure are glad you have it in case of an emergency.
Right now I'm not really worried about it because she is with us at all time (except at the nursery in church but I know Mrs. Donna will take care of her). I purchased a button to pin on her diaper bag informing everyone she does have a latex allergy. We take her back in 1 year to be retested and also tested for some other things.

Here are just a few pics from the last couple of weeks....

My Baby Dedication

I was dedicated at Lakeview Baptist Church on August 14, 2011. This was kind of a big deal to my mommy and she put this horribly uncomfortable dress on me but I must say I think I did look pretty cute. I did so good during dedication (I fell asleep) so mommy and daddy were relieved. They were afraid I was going to toot on the Brother Jerry and interrupt the service. Here are a few pictures from that day....
